Mahomet Helping Hands
Mahomet Helping Hands is a non-profit organization that provides food and clothing assistance to people living within the Mahomet-Seymour school district. Monthly food giveaways are held for qualifying families and individuals in need of assistance. Emergency food assistance is also available in between scheduled food giveaways for households in extreme need. Donated adult and children clothing and small household items are always available for Helping Hands recipients to take for their families.
FBC provides ongoing support to Helping Hands by donating funds and items to the food pantry and by assisting at the monthly food giveaways. A member of our church family, Ann Paul, is the Mahomet Helping Hands President.
